Growing Pains?

One would think that my house would be spotless after all the baby sleeping that has gone on around here today! But that's not the case...because when one is sleeping, the other one is usually awake! Today the sleeping award goes to my sweet Lucy, who has slept almost the whole day (and yes, she is asleep now too!) Sleeping all day and all night...what is going on??? Of course, I call the family "pediatrician" (my sister) and I asked her my daily paranoid parent question! I thought something may be wrong with Lucy because of all the sleeping, but I was told that she may just be going through a growth spurt! Thanks for calming my fears

So back to the clean house thing....

That didn't happen. That's because Lily, unlike Lucy, did not want to have any part in taking a nap today and she also wanted no part of the swing or bouncy seat! She just wanted to be held and snuggled with...so that's exactly what she got! I've learned in the last two months that my "TO DO LIST" never gets anything crossed off of it and that's ok...it's worth having a dirty house and missing some sleep to have these girls! Here is miss Lucy all stretched out. Don't worry, I didn't lay her on a bed, on her belly and walk away...this was taken while daddy had Lily and I was holding Lucy and decided to lay her down for a quick picture! (I just realized I don't have a picture of Lily from today...but I'm sure not gonna wake her up to get one! ha!)

Well, on to other news...

We test drove a van today! It's a 2007 Nissan Quest and it's fully loaded and I never thought I would be saying this...but I LOVE IT AND I WANT IT! We looked at some a few months ago, but never got really serious about it. After the trip to Jonesboro this past weekend, we realized just how cramped it is in my car (especially for long trips!) We're hoping we can get this van, we will find out tomorrow if it's all going to work out!

Today was the day I was supposed to return back to work, but I gave my notice two weeks ago and I'm now an official stay-at-home mommy!

Well, that's all I have for tonight! I've already made the bottles can you believe that?! So, I'm going straight to bed!
