WHERE'S MY AWARD??????

I know what you're thinking....what a cute picture right??? Do you want to know what it took to get this picture? I can tell you that although this is a cute one, it sure is not worth what we went through to get it!

So here's the story...
It was such a rainy day yesterday and I pulled the blinds up in the living room and while the girls were playing in the floor, I noticed they were breaking their necks to see the window...they were AMAZED by the rain! So I picked them up and we stood and watched the rain for a while. They went down for a nap and then Ryan came home for lunch and I told him that when they get up, I'm going to try and get a cute picture of them watching the rain. So, that's just what I did. When they got up from their nap, I had it all set up...I had made a table out of some stools to sit their bumbo seats on (I know, I know...stupid idea) Sure, the bumbos shouldn't be set up on something that unstable...but, hey, I'll be there...nothing will happen. WRONG! (can you guess where I'm going with this?) So, everything is going according to plan and I snapped a bunch of pictures, one of which you see above. But then I have an even BETTER idea...the view out the front window is SO much better, so we'll move the whole operation in there (Ryan had gone back to work by this point, so I'm doing this alone...another good idea) So, I set them up in there and started snapping pictures until all of sudden my foot hit one of the stools and a bumbo seat flips forward and Lucy takes A NOSE DIVE! Yeah, that's right....straight into the window and window seal. She screamed, I screamed and Lily laughed. I threw the camera (which I finally got to work again last night) and I dove to catch her, but it was too late. She luckily didn't hit the tile floor, I caught her before that happened...but none the less it was TRAUMATIC! I grabbed Lily and put her SAFELY aside and looked Lucy over (and over, and over) I called my sister in a panic and then I called the doctor and they said they could get me right in. Ryan came back home and went with me and the doctor said she is just fine! She had a little bump on her head, but she didn't act fussy (in fact she was laughing just a few seconds after the incident!) But he looked her over and said there was nothing to worry about! I was SO relieved! Of course, I was still worried and decided I would spoil her rotten and hold her every second of the rest of the day! As you can see, she's doing just fine now!

(But I feel like a horrible mother!)

Lily did become a little upset when she realized what was going on...
But then she calmed down when the doctor said that sister would be ok!

Needless to say, Lucy and her bumbo seat are not on speaking terms right now!

(Luckily she's not mad at me though!)

So..we got a cute picture, but at what cost?
I ask again...WHERE'S MY AWARD???????
