Fun Family Day!!!!

We have had a FUN day! This is the first Saturday in a LONG time that we have not had something going, so it was great to just hang out all day! However, even though we didn't have anything big going on, we had alot of fun little things happen..so I thought I would share them with you!

These first few pictures are of Lily from late last week...I just didn't have time to post them, so I thought I would show you them now! Lucy actually slept MUCH better than Lily last week, so I turned up with more pictures of Lily! (No favoritism, I promise!)

I've started to let them chew on frozen wash clothes, for teething, and they love them! Here she is after she had given it a try! Big SmilesBoth the girls LOVE Dana, the duck! Lily is giving her a kiss! (Ryan named her...we also have a ceiling fan named Frankie the Fan)

Here is a new addition to my segment:

"I fight sleep so bad, that it causes me to fall asleep in random places!"

It was Lily's turn last week! (You can see that the little key ring toy is on her arm...she played so hard!)

Now on to today....

We tried some new things today....

Bananas for breakfast and Squash for dinner!

Then later this afternoon, we had some company...

This is their cousin Rain! She is exactly 2 months older to the date than Lily & Lucy. On Tuesday she will be 7 months old and they will be 5 months! So hard to believe!

They had SO much fun playing!!

This is my Uncle Reggie, my mom's brother. He's the sweetest! His daughter Gina, my cousin, is Rain's mommy! Gina's husband Robert and my Aunt Janie came too! They were meeting in the middle, because Gina and Robert live in Rogers and my aunt & uncle live in Batesville, so they both saved on gas and we all got to visit! We all had a good time!

After they left, we decided to FINALLY hang the canvases that my BIL painted!

Can you believe that this is all that is on the walls in their room?! We have just not had the time! We still have some other things we're going to do, but they may be 2 years old and ready to change the whole color of the room by then! (They only sleep in there, they spend most of their time in the Living Room...so I don't notice it that much!)

We also hung these ADORABLE bow hangers up in their bathroom! The lady that makes my bows for me made these for her sisters to give me at my shower! I've been using them, but they've just been hanging over a chair in the girls' room! I was wanting to wait until we added a shower curtain or something to match, but oh well..I was tired of waiting! So here they are in the VERY green bathroom!

After dinner, we decided since it was such nice weather, we would take the girls for a walk at the lake! We got there in time for this AWESOME sunset!!! So we decided to take some pictures of the girls and their first trip to the lake! We all had fun, but please excuse the way Ryan and I look, we were not prepared to take pictures of us...it was a last minute decision! Also, it was getting time for the 3 B's (Bath, Bottle, & Bed) so the girls didn't last long!

We had so much fun and I hope the weather stays like this (and gets cooler!) so we can do this more often!

So one last thing (I know, my posts are always SO long and full of pictures that you probably don't care about!)

While we were sitting around hanging out this morning, we were able to capture some pretty priceless videos of the girls! These just melt my heart every time I watch them (and believe me, we have watched them ALOT already!)
