Don't ask me why, but it just is! Every morning when I'm feeding the girls, I always turn it to this channel. I guess I'm pretending it's for the girls, but in all actuality, the girls are not even watching it! In fact, I put them in their bouncy seats and sit in between them to hold their bottles and their bouncy seats are facing away front the TV! So, really...it's for me!

Here's my favorite! I've not really gotten into the whole EspaƱol/English Dora/Diago thing...it actually kind of annoys me. I don't know why, I guess I just want them to pick a language and go with it. However, I'm really into this one. I love that the tools talk, have personalities, and basically do all the work for Manny. (If you don't watch any of this...just ignore me.)

Another thing I love about the tools...their names! Their are 8 (ocho) including Manny...
Pat, the hammer, Dusty, the saw, Stretch, the tape measure, Felipe, the Phillips head screwdriver (the yellow one and he has a Cuban accent), Turner, the flat head screwdriver (the blue one), Squeeze, the pliers, Rusty, the wrench
Clever huh? Anyway, I think it's funny that I'm into this show, because I never could pass my Spanish class in college...I hated it!

Another favorite...Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! I actually got excited today when I heard the theme song playing...I ran in the living room to watch it! (I was doing laundry and the girls were sleeping...sad, I know)
I'm still on the fence about this one. I do not watch this one religiously...but maybe one day they will earn my approval. (I think it's that they remind me of the Wiggles...and I DO NOT like them...they creep me out!)ANYWHO...on to other things...like PLAYTIME!
It's been a fun day so far! However, I did get a call back from the doctor and he wants to see Lily for her rash on her face that WILL NOT clear up! Hopefully, we can find out what's going on!
p.s. This thing is still here and taunting me!UPDATE: WHOO HOO! IT'S DEAD, IT'S DEAD, THE FLY IS DEAD! HE FINALLY GOT FAT & SLOW ENOUGH FOR ME TO CATCH HIM!!!!

Alright girl...we are gonna be great friends. Acknowledging your addiction is the first key. We watch Disney or PBS ALL DAY LONG...and it doesn't phase me in the least. I know all the theme songs to all the shows and it isn't because I hate the shows. :0) I will tell you though, PBS has been lots more beneficial to Andee. We watch WORD WORLD. It comes on around 10 or 1030 in M-F on PBS (not sure what actual channel). Most of the shows on there are educational, as most of the shows on Disney. Andee started watching WW when she was about 6 months old and was saying some of the words by the time she was a year. Just give it a try...and tell me how you...ahem...I mean, THEY like it. :0)
ReplyDeleteHot dog, hot dog, hot diggetty dog!!! I used to think Sesame Street was so cliche, but it is also awesome and has lots of parodies/guest star appearances that adults enjoy too. It comes on at 7 or 8 in the morning on PBS! DVR it and see what you think!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I'm kind of late at seeing this one but I was creeped out by Imagination Movers at first too because I can't get past the 4 grown men doing a TV show for Toddlers. I did some research and they are REALLY cool guys! One is an award winning grade school teacher who is married with kid and the son of an Army Chaplain. He actually started the show because kids needed good male role models and too often they don't have them. The rest used to be in bands, one is a pretty well known architect and they are all married with kids, I think one even has 5!
ReplyDeleteAnywho, the Wiggles still creep me out but I'm not one for British accents (or whatever they are) either so that might have something to do with it!
